Prepare a Club Coordinator to Follow in Your Footsteps

If you are not returning as a Club Coordinator in your church next year, be sure to pass on all your club information and materials to the new Club Coordinator. Below are a few ways that you can make the new Club Coordinator’s transition as smooth as possible:

It is a great idea to meet with the new Club Coordinator and go over the schedule you have been using in club.

Go over the names and job descriptions of counselors that are returning.

Encourage the new Club Coordinator to incorporate her own ideas into club.
Let her know how to order supplies

Remind her to pay dues before November 15, and to check that an offering has been sent.

Review the Counselor’s Manual and the Club Coordinator job description. Make sure she understands everything about club life.

Don’t forget to let the Service Center know who the new Club Coordinator is going to be. There are certain mailings that only Club Coordinators receive and we want to ensure that the correct person receives these mailings.

Thank you for your service to the GEMS ministry and for taking the time necessary to find and train the right person to follow you.
