GEMS Girls’ Clubs/Calvinettes
1958 - 2008
Fifty Years of Ministry!

Fifty years ago, God brought together a group of women with the idea of beginning a ministry specifically for girls. Driven by God’s Spirit and their own passion for helping girls grow spiritually, GEMS Girls’ Clubs/Calvinettes was born. Almost fifty years later GEMS Girls’ Clubs is still seeing that passion lived out in a variety of ways and places. God’s Spirit is moving mightily across continents, using the GEMS ministry to touch the lives of thousands of girls and women each year. We thank God for giving GEMS nearly 50 years of service for His kingdom and look forward to the future, excited about where God will lead the ministry. While looking ahead, GEMS also looks back at the past 50 years and gives thanks to God, standing amazed at how He has blessed this ministry. Come with us as we stroll down memory lane. It all began
in 1957…
